Meet Our Colleague - Xiang Jia

Xiang Jia

Senior Sales Assistant Executive, Order Operations Department, International Business Center

Xiang Jia joined Angel in 2010 and has been with the company for 15 years. She now serves as Sales Assistant Senior Executive in the Order Operation Department of the International Business Center, responsible for overseeing the order operations of the Asia Pacific Division and the Singapore office, playing a pivotal role in driving the company's business development in the Asia Pacific region.


Career Journey and Mission

Starting as a sales assistant, Xiang Jia focused on selling bakery products for the first dozen years of her career. In 2024, due to the company’s business shift, she transitioned her responsibilities in the bakery business to new colleagues and is currently responsible for products in the sectors of Animal Nutrition, Nutrition & Health, and Brewing. Her tasks include receiving orders, coordinating internal stocking and shipment, delivery of settlement documents, and payment follow-up.

As a member of the Angel team, she said: “My job is not just about completing daily tasks; it also involves the mission to safeguard food safety. We hope to help people worldwide lead healthier lives by providing high-quality products. This is the core motivation that drives us to work hard every day.”


Prioritizing Customer Needs

At work, Xiang Jia always puts customer needs first, knowing that meeting customer expectations is crucial for business success. She points out, “When communicating with customers, we carefully listen to their specific requests, such as customized labels and quality standards.” To ensure that every detail is handled properly, she keeps in close contact with customers, promptly confirming specific shipping requirements. She adds, “We are always available to meet customers' needs, regardless of the time difference.”


Team Communication and Leadership Support

Xiang Jia indicated that our company values every employee’s input. “In our team, we regularly discuss market feedback and customer demands, ensuring that every colleague has the opportunity to participate in decision-making.” This communication approach not only helps build trust within the team but also makes every member feel heard and valued.

When facing problems at work, she emphasizes that “Our leaders are supportive and helpful. They listen to us carefully on every issue, even down to the smallest details.” Leveraging their rich experience, they provide constructive suggestions and coordination support, boosting our team's confidence when facing challenges.


Female Staff Support and New Employee Development

Speaking of the employees’ training and development, Xiang Jia highlighted the company’s emphasis on the career growth of female staff. She said: “The company has always placed great emphasis on the development of women in the workplace, by providing us with various support and opportunities. For instance, although our team has a high proportion of female employees, our leaders still encourage us to seize the opportunities to try out different positions, in order to diversify our skills. This kind of care not only helps us improve our professional skills but also boosts our confidence, empowering us to face various challenges in the workplace.”

Besides, Xiang Jia mentioned that new employee development is high on the company's agenda. She said: “To drive the team’s growth and development, I handed over my duties in the bakery business, a role I had been responsible for years, to a new colleague. By doing so, I can try out a new role in another product line and help my new colleague gain valuable hands-on experience. At Angel, our senior staff are more than willing to share their knowledge and experience, and pass on this culture to new members, thus helping them climb the career ladder faster.”

Xiang Jia expressed, “As a global company, we deeply understand the importance of respecting diverse cultures and differences. Therefore, we place a strong emphasis on customization in product development and services.” She added, “From raw materials to finished products, Angel is stringent in terms of quality control and conducts meticulous inspections at every link, ensuring that customers feel safe and reassured when using our products. Moreover, we offer multilingual customer support, ensuring that customers speaking different languages can promptly access information and services.” Xiang Jia believes that such global service strategies not only better meet customers' needs, enhance their sense of belonging and satisfaction, but also establish a positive image for Angel in various markets, thereby driving the company's global development.
